Missed the announcement from last class that there was a calculus quiz this morning. Apparently he announces the dates of quizzes and exams first thing when class starts at 8am. But I can never get to class on time, no matter how early I wake up. I usually get to class 10-15 minutes after it starts. So when I was handed the quiz this morning, I looked at it dumbfounded. I completely drew a blank through those 4 questions, literally.

After handing in a blank quiz, I looked back at my notes and realized how easy it was. It’s only derivatives. I knew how to do this shit, I was just totally caught off guard and had a major brain fart.

Unfortunately, I’m not able to make it up. But it’s okay. That just means I have to do a lot better on my other quizzes, exams, and other assignments. And have the motivation to get up super super early and get to class in time to hear his announcements first thing.

I gotta redeem myself.
